MikeBaglieri operates Pickup Crew, a school-pickup scheduling and notification service for invited family members.
Program description
Pickup Crew sends recurring automated, non-marketing messages about school-pickup assignments, reminders, confirmation requests, approved handoffs, status updates, and urgent requests for pickup coverage.
Consent and eligibility
Initial SMS consent is collected only through an in-person verbal conversation with a known family member. The Pickup Crew account owner reads the complete consent script, the recipient clearly answers yes, and the private dashboard records the recipient, mobile number, UTC date and time, collector, and script version. Consent is never assumed from silence and is not collected through a public web form, paper form, QR code, or initial text-message keyword.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies with the family schedule and is typically one to four messages per scheduled pickup. Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting out and help
Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. After opting out, no further Pickup Crew messages will be sent unless the recipient later resubscribes. Reply HELP for help or contact the family account owner.
Safety limitations
- Pickup Crew is a coordination aid, not an emergency service.
- Pickup Crew does not replace direct confirmation with the school and responsible adults.
- Wireless networks can delay or fail to deliver messages. Families remain responsible for verifying every pickup arrangement.
